SEND Online Training Modules
We were approached by SDSA (The School Development Support Agency) to aid in the development of 4 online modules for the education sector.
Funded by the Department for Education (DfE) via a Whole School SEND (WSS) contract, the modules aimed to address some of the most common SEND training needs. Within each module, 6 role-specific ‘routes’ were developed, which essentially meant that within each module, there was 6 ‘mini modules’.
Challenges
It was a challenging contract, with tight deadlines and a large volume of content to ‘translate’. Because of this we had to work hard in ensuring we were extremely communicative throughout the development phase and were always on hand to answer any queries.
We also provided training in how to use the Storyline 360 software so that the clients were able to edit the content themselves after.
Solutions
The modules were built in Articulate Storyline and made to look sleek, professional and easy to navigate. Our client was very happy with the end product and will happily work with us again on future projects.
